Meet Lisa Macario

From my Cardiff Bay studio, I create text-based art, embroidery and clothing built around words - from playful wordplay to serious protest. 

I’ve embroidered for Sali Hughes, Nicola Coughlan, Aisling Bea, Toni Collette…  and partnered with brands including Percy & Reed, John Frieda, The Design Museum, Instagram, Penguin Random House. My work has also been featured in Harper’s Bazaar, The Guardian and The Telegraph's Stella Magazine.
