ABOUT
I’m Lisa, an artist living in Cardiff, Wales.
I specialise in embroidery work, which I started as a way to reclaim oppressive language and turn into powerful protest.
Armed with an old sweatshirt and embroidery thread, I created a ‘liberal elite’ sweater to wear to the Women’s March in January 2017 and an accidental brand was born! A few weeks later I quit my corporate role to spend all my time embroidering custom orders.
If you care about anything enough to want it on your chest, I’d love to embroider it for you! I’ve created sweatshirts for Sali Hughes, Nicola Coughlan, Aisling Bea, Toni Collette… Partnered with many brands, including Percy & Reed, John Frieda, The Design Museum, Instagram, Penguin Random House. My work has also been featured in Harper’s Bazaar, The Guardian and The Telegraph's Stella Magazine.
If you’re interested in having something embroidered or would like to collaborate, let’s chat!
You can reach me here. I’d love to hear from you and personally respond to all messages. Let’s create something beautiful together!
